News From Perú

Greetings, family and friends,
Thank you so
much for your prayers and for your notes of
encouragement after Alethia´s foot surgery! She is doing
well, and the nerve that was released by the surgery is
beginning to come back to life. That will be a process
that takes time. Tomorrow the stitches come out. Jim has
recovered well from having a molar pulled.
Next
week is the anniversary week of the Bible college here
in Trujillo...celebrating 40 years of training people
for Christian service! It will also be Prospective
Student Week, with young people staying in the dorms,
visiting classes, and particpating in the anniversary
events of the week. Please pray for the safety of those
who will be traveling to come to these events, and for
the special speakers and programs.
Our two
youngest sons are studying at Faith Baptist Bible
College in Ankeny, IA. Daniel is in his second year and
works in campus security. Timothy is in his first year,
and just yesterday started orientation for his new job
with FedEx! He is very thankful to have work. Both are
enjoying their classes and doing well. Our son David
continues to work fulltime as swimming pool cleaner at
home in Riverside, CA, and daughter Sarah and her
husband Matt live and work in Riverside also. We are
thankful for each one of them and miss them. At the same
time, we are thankful that we can serve the Lord here in
Perú as missionaries, and grateful for your part in our
ministry through your prayers and gifts!
