Jim
and Alethia came to know the Lord in their teens, and
through church and Christian camps, decided to make
themselves available to serve the Lord as He chose. They
met in a mission church in New Mexico and were married
in 1979. The next year they joined Baptist Mid-Missions.
They spent a year and a half in Puerto Rico, filling in
for furloughing missionaries, and, except for five years
helping to start churches in Ecuador, for the greater
part of the last 25 years they have been in a Bible
college in Trujillo, Peru, training Peruvians for the
ministry. Teaching “faithful men who will be able to
teach others also,” they see their efforts multiplied as
college graduates become pastors and missionaries not
only in Peru, but in other countries also.

Sarah would
like to find work fulltime in photography when we return
to Calif.; David works, and plans to study some courses
at our local community college in the spring cycle; and,
Daniel and Tim are finishing high school and not yet
decided on what to do after that.

Finally, brethren, pray for us,
that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be
glorified, even as it is with you. 2 Thessalonians
3:1
...Strive together with us in
your prayers to God for us. Romans 15:30
